DESCRIPTION:
Sonora Chime Co., New York, 8 days, time and strike spring brass movement Sonora chime striking on 10 tuned bells bracket clock. The Sonora Chime Co. was making chime movements and purchasing clock movements from the New Haven Clock Co. and casing them up. This is before Seth Thomas purchased the rights from Sonora to make the movements in 1912.
CONDITION:
Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has some minor dings and abrasions. Original silvered dial has scattered light tarnished areas. Original hands. Inlayed front access panel has a very small piece of inlay missing. The backboard is a replacement.
